Bloggers Beware
I was recently made aware of some software that will effect the blogging community. The software is called Blog Blaster and is nothing more than a way for unethical people to spam your Blogs. The junk software will automatically post comments to Blogs that allow comments to be posted by unregistered users. This junk software claims to 'blast your ads to thousands of blogs with one click'. I can't believe anyone would think that this kind of advertising (if that's what you want to call it) would actually help anyone's business. This is an outrage and shouldn't be tolerated. Do you want thousands of comments on your Blogs like: Make a million dollars overnight, join my business and earn millions, free viagra, etc... I don't think so.
What can we as Bloggers do? I suggest we start a campaign against this form of Blog Spam. Stop these people before they sell thousands of these blog spammers, spread the word and block these spammers now. I know it's a pain to have someone register to comment on your blog, but if you require registration, this junk software will not work, unless the spammers register on your blog. If they do you can delete them quickly.
Bloggers unite! and stop these Spammers. If you want to read a good article on stopping blog spam check out this forum thread, scroll down and read the article.

Oh no! :(
I have other blogs, though, that don't have the registration feature but I'd have to manually approve every message. Would that help? :P

I really hate software like this. It ruins it for everyone. I have a blog and I know I don't get as many comments as I would like a lot of the time. If I have to make everyone register to post a comment, well then I think my comment section would just go dead. If you have more info on this I'd love to help spread the word about it.
I agree that if you make people register you won't get many comments on the other hand you don't want to spend your day deleting crap. I hope someone figures out another way to stop automatic posting.
