I recently discovered the website BlogShares.com and I am hooked. I have dabbled in the stock market over the years and still follow certain stocks daily. BlogShares combines the premise of the Stock Exchange and the Blogging Community. You can buy and sell shares of stock in Blogs listed, you can submit ideas and you are rewarded with B$ (BlogShares Cash) and Chips. These are both ways to determine your status in the community. Members are ranked by the amount of chips , cash, and value of portfolio. There are many ways to earn chips and cash like completing missions, submitting ideas, artefacts and more. I found the site because BlogSoldiers was listed in the Stock Market and someone sent me an email to check it out. I was able to claim ownership of BlogSoldiers and buy stock in my own Blog. You can submit your own Blog to the Market and do a press release of the Initial Offering, it's really cool.

Needless to say, I've been spending too much time there surfing and buying up stock in my favorite Blogs.
