I have been listening and I will be making some changes to the surfing experience at BlogSoldiers. The first thing I'm going to do is remove the small surf frame, the one that has the letter hunt game on it. The letter hunt game is still going to be available, it will just be moved to the large part of the frame.

I will also be adding a few new features to the surfing frame, I'm not sure exactly as I have just put my programmer on the job today, but I will be adding a Do Not View Again, and/or a Skip Blog feature. These two have been the most suggested features and I think they will be a very good addition to the surfing experience.

Remember, I am here to make your surfing experience a good one so if you have any feature suggestions, please send me an email. Keep in mind I can't use all suggestions as some are just not feasible and would be very hard to implement. However, I take every suggestion seriously because you guys are the ones that do the surfing and your opinions count the most.

Members have been surfing at a good steady pace but I would like to see an increase in surfing. I'm asking all members to send me some suggestions, I want to know what I can do to get everyone surfing more? The reason surfing needs to increase is, we are growing as far as new members and members are adding their Blogs to the system, but if members don't all surf , the cycle is stops there. The best possible scenario is for members to login , add your blog, surf for an hour or so, assign your credits then repeat this process a couple days a week.

What can I do to increase surfing activity?

I've had a few emails regarding some issues when viewing member blogs. There are a couple of explanations for surfing the issues. The most common questions I'm receiving are.

1. I'm seeing Adult Content Blogs and I don't want to, can you fix this? I sure can. The reason you are seeing Adult Content Blogs is this, by default, our system selects all categories for you when you first join, including Adult Content Blogs. To change this and remove this category, login to your members area, click on Surf by Category, then UN-Check the category Adult Content Blogs and you will no longer see these blogs.

2. Why am I only seeing a few Blogs when I surf? This is another easy fix related to the same issue. If you have already discovered the Surf by Category and you've UN-Checked most of the categories and only Selected a few, that is all you will see while surfing. Until our site grows some more some of the categories won't have many Blogs added. Check as many categories as possible so you can enjoy your Blog Surfing.
